Bradford’s civic art gallery with four permanent galleries and contemporary exhibitions.
The collection consists mainly of 19th and 20th centruy art with paintings and prints.
The hall is set in the grounds of Lister Park with boating lake and adventure playground.
Open: Tuesday – Friday 1000- 1600; Saturday, Sunday and bank Holiday Monday : 1100 1600. Free entry.
Many buses ( including 23/25/26/49/51/52/53; 622/647) go along Manningham Lane.
You can also travel to the Cartwright Hall and Art Gallery from Bradford Forster Square station on the Leeds to Bradford Forster Square Line.
