An off-peak tram travelcard costs a fiver each, £2 for a child and the ticket allows you to travel from one end of Greater Manchester to the other.
It is a trip around the city that shows you the sights including a roller coaster ride up to Media City past Salford Quays and the docks.
You can even get out to Bury for some black pudding on the Metrolink and Rochdale at the foothills of the South Pennines.
