Whitegate Way

Cuddington is one one end of Whitegate Way Country Park, accessible from Waste Lane which is just under a 10 minute walk from Cuddington Railways Station.

The Whitegate Way is slightly over 6 miles in length and follows the course of the railway branch line from Cuddington to Winsford which was closed in the 1960s.

It has an excellent wide path, established woodland and varied views over the Cheshire countryside.

A good stop along the way is the the Station House Cafe at Whitegate.

It is staffed mostly by local volunteers, and a small number of paid staff, as a not for profit community organisation.

The food is freshly prepared to order and their coffees or teas can be made to suit your tastes.

You can relax indoors or outside in the friendly, homely atmosphere, before carrying on with you walk along the Whitegate Way through the Vale Royal of Cheshire.
